VPN, countries & reputation
Block VPNs and proxies, allow only certain countries and keep known cheaters out.
All join checks run while a player connects ("Apex Anticheat: checking…"). If a check fails the player sees a clear screen explaining why.
Anti-VPN#
Settings → Preferences → Anti-VPN (on by default)
Blocks players connecting through a VPN, proxy or datacenter IP. Players on a VPN see a screen asking them to turn it off.
Allowed countries#
Settings → Preferences → Anti-VPN → Allowed countries
Pick the countries that may join. Search by name, select with the checkbox, Save.
Empty = everyone
No countries selected means all countries are allowed — only VPNs and proxies are blocked.
Example: a Dutch/Belgian community selects Netherlands and Belgium; everyone else sees a "not available in your country" screen.
Reputation#
Settings → Reputation → Minimum reputation to join
Every player has a trust score (0–100%) based on their history across the Apex network and known cheat communities. Set a minimum with the slider:
- 0% — everyone may join (default).
- Higher — players with a lower score are refused.
Players you trust can skip this check via the reputation whitelist.
Require Discord#
Settings → Preferences → Require Discord — players without Discord linked to FiveM can't join and get instructions to link it. Useful because many cheaters join with throwaway accounts.
