ApexYour licence key
Licence keys, activating a key and keeping it safe.
The key#
A licence key looks like apex-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX-XXXX… (case-sensitive). It is included in your download as apex.key, so you normally never have to copy it by hand.
Activate a key#
Bought on the website? The key is added to your account automatically.
Got a key another way (for example from support)? In the dashboard click Add server / Activate key, paste the key and confirm. A key can be activated once and is then bound to your Discord account.
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| This key is invalid or already used. | Typo, or the key is already linked to another account. |
| Key activated! Opening your panel… | Done. |
One key = one server#
A licence protects one server at a time. It's bound to your server's IP on the first connection. See Moving to a new server.
Keep it safe#
- Don't share
apex.keyor post it publicly. - Leaked key? Open a ticket — we can replace it.
Licence suspended#
If a licence is used to test or abuse the anticheat, Apex suspends it automatically. The dashboard shows Server suspended. Contact support if you think this is a mistake.
