Detection settings

Turn detections on or off, choose their action and edit model, weapon and command lists.

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Detections. Changes are saved automatically and reach your server within seconds.

Enable / disable and action#

Every detection has:

  • an on/off switch,
  • an action: Warn, Kick or Ban.

Use the search box (Search detection…) to find one quickly. Detections are grouped by category (Aimbot, Weapons, Movement, Player, Vehicle, Explosions, Entities, Cheats, Protection…). See All detections for what each one does.

What the actions do#

Action What the player sees What you get
Warn "You have received a warning from the anticheat." Entry in Punishments + screenshot + Discord log
Kick Dropped: "You have been kicked." Same, as a kick
Ban Dropped and banned permanently Screenshot, video clip, ban on all identifiers and hardware

The player never sees which detection fired — only you do.

Not sure about a detection?

Set it to Warn first. You'll see every hit in Punishments with evidence, without punishing anyone. Switch to Ban once you trust it on your server.

Customisable lists#

Some detections have an Edit list button (✎). Enter one item per line — a model name, a hash (decimal or 0x…), a weapon, a command or an event name. Reset to default restores the built-in list.

Detection List
antiVehicleSpawn Blocked vehicle models
antiPedSpawn Blocked ped models
antiObject Blocked (troll) objects
antiGiveWeapon Weapons that may not be given (empty = report every give)
antiIllegalWeapon Blacklisted weapons
antiCommands Forbidden commands for non-admins
antiIllegalTrigger Exploit / menu event names
antiSpoofedName Blocked names
antiMenu Cheat-menu globals
antiInjector Injector signatures
antiLuaMenuTextures Cheat-menu textures

Bans with video evidence#

By default a ban takes a screenshot, blocks the player from rejoining right away, records a short video of their screen and attaches it to the ban before the player is removed.

Turn on Instant bans in Preferences to skip the video and ban immediately with only a screenshot (not recommended — the clip is your best evidence).

Loading and respawning#

Apex waits until a player has fully loaded in before checking them, so loading screens, character menus and respawns don't cause false positives.

Trial licences#

During the free trial every detection runs and is logged, but nobody is warned, kicked or banned. See Plans.
