Punishments & bans

How Apex bans work, ban IDs, evidence, unbanning, import and export.

Punishments page#

Tabs Bans, Kicks and Warns. Each entry shows:

  • the player, reason and who issued it (Auto for the anticheat, Manual for staff),
  • evidence — the video clip (about the last 20 seconds) or screenshot,
  • the Ban ID (copy it with one click).

Search by name or use Search by Ban ID.

How a ban works#

A ban covers the player's accounts and hardware. Making a new account or using a VPN isn't enough to get back in.

Every ban has an ID like APX-1A2B3C4D, shown to the player as BLACKLIST ID. Ask players to include it when they appeal.

Bans are stored securely by Apex, not in your server database, so they survive wipes and reinstalls.

Unban#

Punishments → Unban player, or Unban in the in-game panel. You can unban by Ban ID or identifier. The record is kept (marked as unbanned) for your history.

Temporary bans#

The in-game panel offers 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 30 days or Permanent. Temporary bans expire automatically.

Import & export#

With the Master actions permission:

  • Export — download all bans as CSV, JSON or text.
  • Load bans — import bans from CSV, JSON or TXT (for example when migrating from another anticheat).

Appeals#

Banned players see your Discord Invite (set in Preferences) and are asked to open a ticket in your server's Discord with their Ban ID.

Bans and other servers#

Bans apply to your server. Staff can see a player's bans on other Apex servers through Lookup and use the reputation check to keep known cheaters out.
