How detections work
Actions, evidence, exemptions and what to do about false positives.
Apex combines many independent checks, both inside the game and on your server. A single bypass doesn't get a cheater through: the same cheat is usually caught by several detections at once.
No technical details
We don't publish how detections work internally or where their limits are. That information only helps cheaters. Everything you need to configure and integrate Apex is on these pages.
Actions#
Every detection uses the action you choose in Detection settings: Warn, Kick or Ban. Some detections confirm a hit before they act, to keep false positives away.
Evidence#
Every warn, kick and ban comes with a screenshot. Bans also include a short video of the player's screen. Everything appears in Punishments and your Discord logs.
Automatic clean-up#
When someone spawns forbidden vehicles, peds or objects, Apex removes them automatically.
Loading and respawning#
Apex waits until a player has fully loaded into the server before it starts checking them, so loading screens, character menus and respawns don't cause false positives.
Exemptions#
A detection is ignored when:
- a staff member uses the matching Apex panel tool (noclip, godmode, spectate…),
- one of your scripts called
allowfor that action, - the player is on the Anticheat whitelist (or Whitelist Tx is on for txAdmin admins).
False positive?#
- Check the evidence in Punishments.
- If one of your scripts causes it, use
allow/apexAllowSpawnin that script, or set the detection to Warn. - Unban the player and open a ticket in our Discord with the Ban ID so we can improve the detection.
