FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Apex Anti-Cheat.
Does Apex slow down my server?#
No. Apex is built to be light on your server.
Do I need to update the resource?#
No. Apex loads the newest code every time the resource starts. Download a new zip only if support asks you to.
Can I use Apex on more than one server?#
A licence protects one server at a time. Moving servers is easy — see Moving to a new server.
Are my staff immune?#
No, nobody is immune by default. Apex panel tools exempt themselves while in use, and you can add trusted people to the Anticheat whitelist.
Does Apex work with ESX, QBCore and standalone servers?#
Yes. The anticheat works on any framework. WeaponGuard reads ox, qs, codem, qb and ESX inventories automatically, and Offline options use the ESX database.
Can players see why they were banned?#
They see a neutral message and their Ban ID, never the detection name. You see everything in the dashboard.
What happens if Apex is down?#
Your server keeps running and players can still play. Check the status page for updates.
Can I migrate bans from another anticheat?#
Yes — use Load bans on the Punishments page (CSV, JSON or TXT). Switching from another anticheat? Open a Migration Discount ticket in our Discord.
Is my data safe?#
Your code is never stored on your server, bans are stored on Apex's servers, and IPs are hidden unless you enable Show IP.
How do I get help?#
